Bug Swap
This is a 3D first person Puzzle Platformer developed during the course of a month for the 2021 GitHub GameOff competition.
Through some strange phenomenon, you as the player are able to switch back and forth between a regular and glitched version of the same level.
Using your powers of Copy and Paste to move lines of code between objects, you will navigate your way through several puzzle levels.
In addition, you can see the time it took to complete the game at the end.
WASD / Arrow Keys to move
SPACE to jump
SHIFT to run
MOUSE to look
ENTER to switch the level
ESCAPE to go back
R to restart the level
Enjoy!
UPDATE:
Due to a dumb, last minute bug, the second level became impossible to beat. As a result of the deadline, however, this could not be corrected.
However, I attached a downloadable fixed version of the project in case you wanted to experience the rest of the game.
I'm sorry for any inconvenience that came as a result of this and I am not expecting you to rate the game based on the fixed version. Sorry again.

So I was playing your game just now on my browser and it seems a lil broken. I was in the second area where you introduce the mechanic of cutting and pasting code and yeah that was simple enough but when I pasted the code and tried jumping onto the new platform, I just bugged out and the screen turned all gray and it took a lot of fiddling around just to get it working again.
Once i did get it working, I went into the next room and yeah, I couldn't accomplish it. I think you were somehow supposed to rotate that moving slab but I just couldn't do it? and if I was supposed to pick the power-up where the instructions were, then I just couldn't get there. And if I'm still missing something then damn, guess I got a monkey brain. Eventually, after walking around the room a lot, I glitched through something and the same thing as earlier happened, the screen turned all gray.
That's just what happened with the WebGL version, idk if the same bug happens in the downloadable.
I personally had problems with WebGL compared to just making a downloadable (which you have done too). If the downloadable works better then cool, but I won't be downloading it unfortunately for personal reasons. No hard feelings, but yeah, what you have going is definitely interesting.
Sorry for the inconvenience. While I was taking screenshots of the finished level, I removed some objects from the level. I didn't release the mistake that I made until earlier today, but obviously it's too late now. I uploaded a fixed downloadable version for anyone who wants to play the full game, but I understand if you don't want to. Anyways, thank you for playing my game and I apologize for the trouble it caused you.
